I bought this book for my sons who have been rescued by a team of Skye Mountain Rescue. They had become cragfast on a slope that was a bit more challenging than they expected. I wanted to support the team by buying this book and was very pleasantly surprised by the great quality! Beatiful images and interesting texts about the places and people of Skye. Also, it was sent very quickly and arrived without trouble in the Netherlands. I can recommend the book and service to everyone, especially those with a love for Skye, Scotland or photography! Kind regards, Karen

This is a beautiful book which I bought after seeing it featured on the Living The Sky Life YouTube channel. I actually purchased it as a gift for a friend and it won't be gifted for a while yet. Naturally I looked through it, very carefully as I wanted it to be pristine when handed over. It's simply a beautiful book with photographs I could only dream of taking! You deserve every success with this beautiful book.

I heard about this book from Willie Scott and Sarah Perry on their YouTube channel "Living the Skye Life" I wanted to get a copy and when I learned that all the profits from the book will be donated by Andrew to the Skye M ountain Rescue team that sealed the deal! Andrew is a very talented and patient photographer and has captured some interesting photos of the Skye Landscape and Skye Residents going about their nightly business. I thoroughly recommend this book Sandy Day Lowestoft, Suffolk.

This is the most amazing group of photos of a completely magical island — even more so because Andy grounds the magic in the real people who live there. I cannot recommend it highly enough — it will be my #1 Christmas present this year.

The originality, creativity and sheer beauty of these photographs is breathtaking. Andrew Tobin has skilfully blended together a nocturnal array of poignant images, introducing even distant lovers of Skye to some of its hidden secrets. The reader is taken on a fascinating journey of discovery, through stunning landscapes, auroral displays and cloudscapes, intertwined with images of both the island's economy and cultural richness. Every page reveals something new and exciting. We cannot wait to return to Skye!

This is a lovely book. Very unique. The snippets of narrative alongside some stunning photography are insightful and interesting. The focus on night brings a different perspective and shows the people of Skye and the landscape in a new light. The contribution to a very deserving charity is to be applauded.

I had been followig the Skye at Night youtube channel since it started and have always enjoyed seeing how these images are made. As the book got closer and closer to completion my anticipation of getting one in my hands grew and grew. I've got many photographic books and i was hoping that this would look as good in the flash as the images looked online. When it arrived and i unboxed it i could not have been happier. This is not just a book of photographs, beautiful photographs, it's a book with a narrative. Seeing the people who live and work on the island, along with the scenic beauty of the place really tells the story of life on this island. Even if you've never visited Skye this is a book worth getting and with the benefit of helping out Skye Mountain Rescue, its a double win!

An intriguing look into lesser seen aspects of life on Skye, with a great mix of places and people. I enjoyed reading the short narratives accompanying each image which gave brilliant insights into the subject and the artistic choices for the photo. Not only are the photos beautiful, the quality of the book is amazing. To top it off, all for a wonderful cause to support the Skye Mountain Rescue Team.
