The Isle of Harris

What we photographers call a “target rich environment”, Harris is simultaneously beguiling, addictive and frustrating. After the Isle of Skye, it is my favourite photographic destination in the world. There is a huge variety of scenes and conditions, resulting in opportunties every way you turn. But how to photograph them effectively and create compelling images? Nowhere is as puzzling and encouraging.
